Jackie has been playing the viola for 25 years and earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Ithaca College, where she studied viola performance with Debra Moree as well as Suzuki violin pedagogy. Since then, Jackie has held section viola contracts with professional orchestras such as the Binghamton Philharmonic and the Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes while living in the Ithaca area. Since moving to the Hudson Valley, Jackie has also played with the Greater Newburgh Symphony Orchestra, the Woodstock Symphony Orchestra, the Hudson Quartet, and the Dorian String Quartet. Jackie also enjoys playing folk and indie rock music and has played shows with artists such as Yours Are the Only Ears, Harrison Basch, and Underground River.
