Jacquelyn Timberlake lives in Kingston, NY and has been playing viola for over 25 years. Her musical background is primarily in the classical world, where she enjoys playing with symphony orchestras and string quartets, but she also often plays alongside folk and indie musicians. As an educator, Jackie is passionate about teaching individuals at a wide range of ages, levels, and abilities using well-studied pedagogy, as well as unique creative approaches in order to meet each student where they are. She currently teaches about 40 violin and viola students ranging from young beginners to advanced high school musicians.

In addition to rehearsing, performing, and teaching, Jackie is also interested in psychology, herbalism, and yoga. She recently completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training through Whole Sky Yoga in May 2022.
